We have supplied police, fire, EMT, military, clubs, corporations and designer brands with professional grade custom embroidered patches for clothing. They include a traditional merrowed border (thread wrapped edge) or can be laser cut to your custom shape. Iron on embroidered patch backing or hook & loop patches (similar to Velcro) for military applications are also available.

Fully Customizable Embroidered Patches

Our embroidered patches offer a full range of customizable options. Some options not listed on our website include hole cuts, grommets, glow-in-the-dark thread, alternate color metallic threads, reflective thread, over 8 colors (up to 12), oversize patches (over 12”), felt twill, camo twill, rhinestones, button holes, safety pin backing, magnetic backing, double sided embroidery (for keychains), keychain loops and more. Embroidered Patch Design Tips

Keep your text above the minimum font size of 11pt. When possible, use all caps and san-serif font styles. The embroidery process may struggle to translate very small characters, particularly small serif fonts, script fonts or other fonts with small details. If your patch requires small text under 11 point, you may consider woven patches as an alternative. Please note, the average size of a merrowed border on embroidered patches is approximately 1⁄8”. The maximum recommended dimensions for embroidered patches being applied to baseball caps is 2.5” tall and 4” wide. For general reference, the standard size of a police department shoulder patch is 4” wide and 5” tall. Sports team patches are commonly 3” round.

Add Color or Text Versions

We offer the convenient option to add text or color versions to your patch order. This means, you can switch out a single color to create a new colorway for your design. Alternatively, you can swap out one line of text to create different text versions of your patch. This is more affordable compared with placing separate orders for each design version.

Bulk Quantity Quotes

Iron-on Patches & Sticker Patches

Iron-on patch backing allows you to permanently attach an embroidered patch to your goods with a home iron. Each application only takes around 30 seconds! For heat press set to 375 F or for home iron set to medium cotton setting, no steam. Press firmly for 20 seconds, then place on a flat surface and let cool completely. Peel & stick backing turns your woven label into a convenient sticker. This option is a great way to quickly apply a label at special events. This option is also used by manufacturers to hold labels in place for sewing, particularly when sewing woven labels on baseball caps or similar products.
